I'm looking forward to buy a portable pc to mix live with Atomix. I have some questions about the sound config. Is it possible to use atomix with a 3D soundcard in a portable? (I don't know if they can manage this kind of cards). If it is absolutely necessary to have an external soundcard, my options are SB Extigy (which is quite expensive, although I am sure I won't have problems) or the Abit AU10 5.1, which has good price, but I don't have any news about.
Can you give me your advices? Does anybody use the Abit soundcard? Tell me about your experiences.
