Ok, asslickin out of the way:
Will this soundcard surffice in enabling me to play one channel on my speakers & the channel on my comp for recording?
Sorry if this has been answered before but I looked through the back posts & could find a simple enough answer for none technical brain.

You can be in softmode, using the front for the speakers and the rear for the headphones. Then you can record with the recording function in AtomixMP3.
Or you can be in hardmode, using an external mixer and plug the mixers record out to the line-in of your SB. Then you must use another recording software, taking the sound from the line-in.
