Sujet: Using an External Mixer?

Hi,

I'm new to this computer dj'ing business!

I have a Numark DM3002X Mixer and would like to connect it to the computer and use with atomixmp3.

What's the best way of going about this? Would I need 2 soundcards?

Yep. One soundcard going to both inputs.

 
Yes just use the first option on the left of the sound config and the third option on the right of the sound config. You will need a y splitter and two mono double rca connections. This will result in dual mono out. It will be accomplished using 1 sound card.

but how can we connect the mixer to the soundcards?
 
using a headphone to rca cable adapter.
