hmm,
welcome to forums,
please don't shout (write all in caps)
try to adjust the settings of your soundcards (in windows mixer) many cards have set it to middle by default which is very silent.

Does other software (like winamp) play much louder ?

What soundcard do you have ?

I think this problem isn't associated to VDJ. Which version are you using?

get a professional soundcard such as an m-audio or a maya44. these have the professional signal level outputs so they put out asmuch gain as a pro cd player. this will fix your problem

hi!

I've got the same problem...with the DJ Console. The signal is much so low. So the signal screen at my pioneer mixer never reaches the red area; but it should, because the pioneer mixers are made for that, I think.

regards
Andy

This is a common problem associated with three things.

1. Cracked versions.
2. Poor soundcard.
3. bad settings.

Mixer is not the place to look.

Get a Sonic Maximiumizer. It cost about $189 but it is well worth it even if you are still using cds or records. I had the same issue and tried everything all the others post have. This is a great solution.
