which 1 to get?
my brother wants to get into dj'ing and he wants to get some hardware. I did some research and Hercules and BCD2000 seem pretty much the same minus the number of outputs.
DAC2 seems to require an external mixer.
Any suggestions?

Hercules is a good learning tool, and you are right it is a pretty good all-in-one unit. As he grows he can expand.

The Hercules combined with a traditional mixer is a great combination, and enhances the console.
