How about a button so that different video transitions can be used randomly? Sometimes it's a pain to manually shange them.

the command to change the transition is mappable so you can create a skin button to do it or a keyboard shortcut. or assign it to the rotary encoder near your crossfader on your x-session MIDI controller....................

"rotary encoder near crossfader on x-session" that's what I did and it works great. Don't even need to have the corresponding buttons on the skin, because there are only 4 possible posistions and you can easily turn the knob to where you are sure its position is unambiguous. Even just put labels around the rotary knob.
