When I have one track playing on deck 2, all is hunky-dory. As soon as I drag and drop my next mp3 onto deck 1, the focus shifts from deck 2 (red & green numerals swap colours) and the output from deck 2 simply.... ceases. I have to hit "TAB" very quickly to shift the focus back to the right deck, and then the sound continues to play. But it leaves an ugly mini-pause in my set.
This only happens when I drop onto deck 1 and not the other way around.
I use an HDJC Mk2 wired to an external mixer using the suggested settings (crossfader locked onto Deck A and headphones on Deck B).
Is there any way to prevent the focus shifting when I drop on a new mp3? Or must I persist with my ugly workaround? Maybe I'm overlooking something obvious? :o)
