I'm a hip-hop djer myself.
My (somewhat) trusty xp-10s and I do pretty good.

I mixed it 5 out of 10 times. Hip Hop and R&B is a very difficult genre. Requires alot of skill to pull it off well.

Myself i also play hip hop as said not the most easy of music to mix??
Not my first choice of music !!
But hey thats what the crowd want to hear lately ..
Gone through the eighties nineties ,now here we are in the year 2005 almost 06 ..

Hip hop is what I mostly play and what I have always loved to play the most as well. The quality of music these days isnt what it used to be though...

I spin hip hop although not my first choice. I prefer some Elektro funk/Drum & Bass. However there isn't much of a population that enjoys the style.

So in the club or any gig I get asked to play some hip hop, R&B and Dancehall.

Yeah it's difficult to mix, but I love it! I'm not a real dj but I've been collecting RnB tunes since the early '90s.
 
Btw, has anyone's got any links to decent RnB hip hop mixes?
