I just downloaded the trial version this weekend and loved it. Does anyone know if the Home Edition allows you to listen to preview with headphones and output to my stereo receiver at the same time? Also do I need a special soundcard for my laptop to do that?

the home edition only support ONE soundcard.
To prelisten, that ONE soundcard needs to be a 4.1/5.1 soundcard.
You can then have master out on one channel, and prelisten on the other channel out.
