Sujet: Scratching sounds bad!!!

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I have tryed the TCCD's and the scratching sounds horrible. At first i thought it was my Denon 6000's but i have since moved to Pioneer CDJ-800's and it is still very poor. Is there a setting adjustment to fix this problem? Ive only been using my factory installed soundcard w/ the ASIO driver to test TCCD out. I dont want to invest in a soundcard if i am going to have the same problems. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

well with 3.4 the scratch sound is much cleaner then it was in previous versions. if your scratch sound is aweful might be latency wise which would result in having a non ASIO soundcard. I can definatelly say that version 4.0 has a whole new sound engine wich it really great with scratching so if you don't get what your expecting now wait till 4.0. Its pretty much like a real vinyl.

Does anyone know if 4.0 will be available as an upgrade or will i have to buy the numark version?

i think the answer of now is that its an update.

Thnaks for the help. Anyone know when the update is expected to be available?

Only God knows, believe me...

it will be an upgrade more then likely.

Virtual DJ is Virtual DJ.

Virtual Vinyl is Virtual Vinyl.

I'm sure Atomix will want to keep it like that ;).

Actually since i went to a maya44 usb, it sounds much, much better. I use VDJ 3.4 at all of my gigs now with TCCD's!!!

i suspected it would be a soundcard issue, as i've tested it out on my dz1200, numark somethings (some cheapish dual cd deck) and a pioneer cdj 800 and not had any problems with it.
