Sujet May 44 USB Problem..

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I have a problem with my Maya 44 usb and a dell inspiron 8600 computer. what I do is plug in the Maya 44 usb, and my usb hard drive into each of the 2 usb ports on the dell inspiron 8600. I then turn on the laptop. The hard drive is recognized in MY COMPUTER. then I start up VDJ and I get the message "not enough asio channels" .. I then have to exit out of VDJ and then unplug the MAYA44 and plug it back in and start up VDJ. sometimes I have to do this 3 or 4 times to get it to be recognized. I also noticed sometimes when I plug in the maya 44, it tells me POWER SURGE on USB port. I thought it was a pwoer issue so I bought a powered USB hub but it still does the same thing. ANy ideas so I dont have ot fiddle with this every time I use VDJ?

Thanks...

Hi, i havn't had exactly the same problem, but i've found that the maya seems to work better if i turn the computer on, wait for windows to load, etc. Then plug the maya in, then start VDJ.
