I've got a homemade booth monitor cab with onboard amp, does that count?

check out speakerplans.com....

they've got free plans for all sorts of cool speakers...

I've built a few, and they're pretty damn nice!

a friend of mine actualy had a batch of 8 X1s fabricated unloaded for £1600, spent another £1600 on 8 Precision Devices 1850s (legendary bass drivers, but bloooody heavy). £3,000 for 8-12 Kw of thumping bass isnt bad.

if you know a good chippy, its the best way to go. they sound absolutely banging

i was thinking of maybe using some cerwin vega strokers. a few years ago while shopping downtown i saw a 36" woofer does anyone know who makes it? i think it was clarion but im not shure
