Effect plugins are reserved for licensed users of VirtualDJ Pro (and some are accessible by Home Edition users)
The trial version already contains the effect plugins, wich are enough to test the software.
If you want to have full access to all the features of Virtual DJ (with full access to plugins), you can buy it on the website here: http://www.virtualdj.com/purchase/
