Sujet Ripping vinyl

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Im just trying to digitize some vinyl and was tryin to use the ripvinyl software but Im getting a msg that the LAME encoder DLL cannot be found.

Can anyone help as to what it is asking for.

The program is pickin up the input but wont let me save anything.

Have you tried specifying a bitrate to encode at in the config?

Same here, I downloaded lame 3.96.1 dll and still no luck... Help would be appreciated

Does the demo version allow you to at least record or rip vinyl, just a little?
I cant get it to record.......driving me crazy!!!!

Download the lame encoder from this web site:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Lame_Encoder.htm

Lame 3.96.1 or 3.97.b2 is fine.
Unpack the file in the directory where Virtual DJ is located.

Execute Rip Vinyl.
Choose configure.
Click the button near the bitrate value (right at the bottom of the screen).
Choose the lame_enc.ddl and confirm.

It should work !
