Denon 300 or pioneer 400 :) for home / mobile use. Or Denon 1500 / Pioneer 800 for home / club use. - my favourite

PIONEER DJM ..;)

500 or 600 ;) best mixer there is... but a bit expensive..

For personal use, go for a cheaper one, from Pioneer, Denon or Numark.. and u will be fine:)

I have a couple club gigs that i do that have Pioneer mixers installed. Actually, a LOT of clubs have them installed. This has made me like them less and less everytime I use them. I'd almost rather use just about anything else. For VDJ use, I like the Rane TTM56. I personally use a Rane TTM57, which is a really solid mixer. If I wasn't using the Rane, I'd probably buy the UREI or the Vestax PMC-05PRO III. I've played on the Vestax a few times and it's pretty nice.

Havent tried the Rane mixer... looks pretty solid yes

by my opinion pioneer = default :) 98% of bigger clubs are using pionner (except smaller, cheaper clubs). For example, i worked in 1 club, 130 peoples max, they use 20 years davoli mixer :) still, it sounds much better then my numark bought 2 years ago :)) I think the pioneer is best sollution for clubs because every DJ know to work with it, they don't break (i saw numark cdx with broken motor after 2 months), and easy to work. denon 1500 is also very good mixer, but i think more people know to work with pioneer 600 than denon 1500, and because of that everyone go to DEFAULT :)

hi all,
I use my behringer djx700 to mix with vdj...it is the perfect copy of pioneer djm600.
but, if you want a very professional mixer, you must buy an ecler nuo 4, that is compatible with vdj at 100%...

As a scratch dj I must go for a battle mixer. I got a Numark DMX pro. Its nice and looks a LOT like nightrider. First time I plugged it I actually thought it would talk to me.

Karlo.

Pioneer DJM 909...best sound I've ever heard coming out of a mixer...plus some nice features.

Ecler Nuo4! If you're using VDJ, and want to take full advantage of it, the Nuo4 is fantastic. You can map any command you can think of to the buttons and knobs on the Nuo4. Control of the decks, looping, effects, samples, video mixing, anything you can think of can be controlled by the buttons and knobs on the Nuo4. And the audio fidelity is top-notch in my opinion!

I agree with Poloralphloren...
and I'll just buy this mixer replacing my djx700.
but, first of all, I need money to buy it...and in this moment, I think that isn't possible!!
I must be patient!!!
bye

I'll post my opinion of it later.

I use and love Rane Empath. Before it, I had a DJM-600. DJM-600 is an awesome mixer, but to say that it's the best there is, is ridiculous! My top choice right now would be DJM-800.

Numark DXM09 - it's got 3 channels so you can preview samples, and awesome effects - including tape echo, something VDJ cannot do! And it's only $350.
