Hello everyone!
Well, I don´t know how but my soundcard just burnt today... It just stopped working after I connected my stereo to the LINE IN(weird)... Doesnt matter, it was a cheap one (Genius).
So, I have finally decided to buy a new and better (if not good xD) soundcard.
However, I´m full of doubts.
I first thought of the Soundblaster ones.
But then I came across the M-Audio Revolution 5.1
All of these features make it seem better than the Soundblaster.
BUT, I also thought "well, maybe I should go for a BCD and get midi as well as soundcard".
However, (and here comes the question), I don´t know how good the BCDs integrated soundcard is... And I will be using it for live performances, so my priority is sound.
It´s not that I need a perfect soundcard, but I don´t want any skips or "slowness" anymore.
So, anyone who has it, please tell me ...
Is it any good? Or should I stick with buying a good soundcard instead?
Better or worse than the Revolution 5.1?

well, i have the bcd2000 and it doesn't work!
i tested it in 3 computers, made all the tweaks and the adjustments but the sfotware that comes with is horrible. it freezes, it gives me blue screens and when it desides to play it's skipping the songs. no good for me. just try before you buy. this is the best thing to do. ...

If you want a quick solution avoid BCD2000 for now (I have one of them) because it's a new product, with a few audio Asio problems. The next upgrade of Virtual DJ will solve some of these problems but you have to wait for the feedback.
Buying a soundcard is allways the best solution. I even used soundcard with my old Hercules. Midis and soundcards should not be together in one box. To reduce the price they reduce the quality.
So get a new soundcard, don't buy Hercules, wait for couple of months....and @sktoris, stop testing people's PCs with BCD and buy VitualDJ, this is the best thing to do.
