I used to work with Atomix and the Magic Button on it made a smooth and accurate beat matching. You could play two tracks and they would mix so smoothly. I just got Virtual DJ 3.4 and it does not beat match that smoothly. The song even after pressing the beatmach button for a while still remain unmatched and the mix sounds horrible. I mixed the same two tracks with atomix and the mixing sounded so much better. Is there anything wrong that Iam doing with virtual dj 3.4 because iam a new user.
Thank you so much

In order to make an automatic mixing Beat Lock work correctly, the first step is to make sure (how?) that each song has CBG's (Computer Beat Grid) adjusted accurately (in cases VDj doesn't detect it well):
Any small offset will have a bad effect, while CBG's will still be matched, the beats won't:
And the 3rd thing, disable the Timestretch algorithm under Fame Settings to avoid jumpy sound.
Regards.
