I ripped a track to the desktop at a gig this weekend, and included to the database search.
Now I want to delete it. THis is what I did.
1. Delete from db search
2. Scan DB
3. Delete from desktop
However this track stil shows in VDJ. It won't allow to delete. Get msg "cannot delete file: cannot read from source disk"
Went to explorer and it is not there. Also did a search in windows for track and it did not find it.
Any suggestion how I can delete this please??

you did all the right stuff , just not in the right order you should have deleted the file first then the database then do a scan, so just do your first 2 again and you'll be fine (delete database, scan database) also FYI you could have also deleted it from the VDj browser just right click

Did like you said. Still found it there. Finally found it in the playlist file.
Deleted playlist rescanned and viola it's gone.
