I will be very happy if a version of virtualdj is designed which can separate vocal from instrumental. That is to say one can play a song and allow only the instrumental to play and at another time only vocal. In short just separating the two.

thats unfortunately impossible.. NO software can...
What can be done that will be close, is using a subtracktive algorithm, where you sample some of the instrumental part, and use that to "take away" those frequencies from the song.
Such a plugin is under development by Tex for VDJ ;)

Does anyone know any software that I can use to censor out swear words on songs? Like flipping it for a second so it says "ish" instead of... well you know.

You can use the forward reverse plugin with VDJ, if you want to do it on the fly, when mixing.
If you want to do it before you mix, use a wave editor (such as Adobe Audition), and just mark the part where the bad words are, and make an effect that you like (reverse, biip, etc etc etc)
