think you need VDJ full version for good support for that;) Specially VDJ4's new midi support

But look inside VDJ, at keyboard shortcuts tab.

And make your midi shortcuts

Be sure you have midi enabled in controller tab too

Hope that helps ;)

thanks k but how do i make thoes midi shortcuts i basicly want the jog wheels to scrach and the cross fader and 4 buttons for effects or samples

everything except the scratch will be easy

1) enable midi as controller (in controller tab inside VDJ)

2) go to keyboard shortcuts tab, and browse for a shortcut/function you would like to map

3) choose the values for that shortcut, and press the button on your midi device to teach VDJ what button you want to use

thats basically it

The scratch can be a bit tricky, you might not have luck there, but you can try.
In VDJ4 its easier for scratch mappings

nothing happens
why is that

well, if it doesnt work, blame the crack

Cracked version often are cracked demos, so features are DISABLED.

Sorry

No only demos that are cracked are bug free... full releases contain all the bugs for licensed users to complain about and the crack heads live in harmony.

Is your DM2 even being recognized by windows?

dj-in-norway -- helped you as far as possible and since your using the demo version - as norway said it is limited in capabilities - i.e. DEMO.

However, go to the Config.. Go to the Remote control tab... check the MIDI control check box... Click config and start configuring your dm2. Beyond that... hopefully a dm2 using will come along and help you further.

Not talking about your dm2 being a demo... talking about the fact you are using the DEMO of Virtual DJ. but again to answer your question... yes maybe you need the dm2 to midi in order to send midi signals to VDJ.
