Anyone know if this mixer will work with VDJ? What would it control? Work similar to the Hercules? It was on display at the AC show but nobody had actually used it or tried it with VDJ. Thanks for any help.

Yes, it works with VDJ, not as good as MK2 , it was written many times about this, do a search on the forum (general and this one, Hardware).

Well actually bcd-2000 works very good, only have 2 reports in this. One is that the leds don't work properly (sometimes will not go off after presing the button, so users are currently don't using leds advice config in their consoles). Second; Mic can't be use in ASIO mode using TCVs because of the consfiguration of the console.

You must be aware that some users have been report problems because bcd-2000 need more power than a simple USB port (mainly in laptops) could give them, so the bcd-2000 stop to work in these case.

The secure way at this time is the Hercules DJconsole MK2. But some users love the shape of the bcd-2000 so they take their chances with it.

Good Luck!

LEDs do not work because of the way the BCD is 'supported'. It is 100% an issue with VDJ.

The mic cannot be used because VDJ does not support ASIO input on the mic.

Power is no issue as the BCD has it's own powersupply

All-in-all VDJ has no specific BCD2000 support, you can use it through a MIDI map, although as stated the leds will not work. As fas as the audio part goes there is an issue but it seems to work for most right now..

Dev Team is working on things for 4.1 ;)

We know, but that does not help people asking this now, based on v4. It's also the same rhetoric, event hough I understand you have little else tou can say on this, we heard when the BCD was released and we were told v4 would have (full) BCD2000 support..

I'm hoping like you and many others v4.1 will be quick to come and fix these issues. But for now that's all we can do..
