Sujet: PC never goes on the net...what do I need?

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I've tried the demo of V4 and it looks wicked on my home pc.
I'd like to try the demo tonight at my gig but my gig pc doesnt go anywhere near the internet and has previously been using pcdj red 5.3. I remember a while ago I took a copy of the virtual dj trial exe to install on my gig machine but it tried to connect to the internet to download direct x and possibly some other stuff.

So, could someone please tell me what I need to have installed on my pc before installing virtual dj 4 with no internet connection available?
I believe my gig pc has XP pro, service pack 1.

thanks in advance,

Matt

Having the newest Service Pack (2), DX 9c, Wmp and .Net are always a good thing. as far as awhile back, I doubt that was VirtulDj, PCDJ was the only one to look for latest DX and WMP on your machine
* to make sure the program is running great, download all the newest drivers it really does help

Nah, the VRM and FX range did but PCDJ red 5.x would run without direct x and wmp, even on windows ME!

I'll stick direct x 9 and latest wmp on a dvd and see how i go.

Latest version of your soundcard, video card and motherboard drivers might come in handy too - apart from that - nothing else!

Yep it worked like a treat and I really like the software.

I just need to work out how to use it best with the dac2

thanks,

Matt
