Is there anyway to set VDJ so that both channels can be on the monitor.
Mixvibes DJC version does this, and works more like a normal mixer (or at least the old ones I've used!).
Basically when you press the monitor button on one channel, it doesn't effect the other channel.

did you try to config a mixvibes software ???? what a nightmare !
try some other skin most of them had the fonction you want.
or set 2 shortcut call head phone mix :
on the first set value to + 4096
on the second set value to 0
you made the good choice now the nightmare is end !

I bought Mixvibes many years ago, and at the time it was the best in terms of bpm detection and graphics.. But when I tried it again (both the free djc version, and pro demo) it just seemed lacking compaired to vdj.
The DJC version just worked - didn't need to configure anything, but it was a bit limited, and in all honesty, the DJC version of VDJ is better.
ANyway, will give the monitor thing a try tomorrow

u will find the monitor mix at pro skins (pioneer 700, mixstation etc)... its a slider called "headphone mix" that will let u prelisten to both decks/your mix

OK - that's quite cool..
Would still be nice if each channels monitor button was a toggle (so that turning one channel on didn't turn the other off).
This would give the option of listening to ch1, ch2 or both.
Possible???
If not, I might look into editing the djconsole skin provided with V2 to have the monitor slider on.
