I have the MK1 dj console and was thinking about getting the home edition as I don't really plan to do any public dj'ing and have lost the original hercules software which had the special version of virtual DJ on it.
Question is, will the home edition work with the MK1 console as I don't want to spend a lot of money getting the pro edition if I would only use the features of the home edition(as I've never DJ'd before).

i think you need pro because on the comparision chart , there is a cross against it.

If you write Hercules support they might give you the original software.
