with just tccd its fine, but if you use regular cd's too it sucks, it has very bad scratch emulation. For the price i would get a pioneer cdj800 or denon 3500 instead.

No i do not have them but i know people that do and don't like them as much as cdj800's. there was a video around i wish i could find it and show you what i mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtX9JsWcR28

"The biggest issue on this player is the fact that you cannot scratch with the unit while in Pitch Lock mode. If you try to do so, you will hear some serious distortion and reverb."

and being the same price as cdj800's i wouldn't buy them, maybe if i got a super deal but that would be it.

Hi listen2
well i have these decks and that vid is old news as the deck had firmware 1.7 and now the firmware is 2.3 and has no problems with the scratch sound there where lots of vids going around when they first came out to try and rubbish them most of which came from denon reps.
Also the distortion sound you say it has when pitch lock is on is not distortion it is the result of the time stretch algorithm the same as in most pro studio software like cubase or logic audio and when used on the pios or denons it is turned off when the platter is moved and pitchlock has never been on any vinyl decks ever so why do we need to scratch with it on any way.
These decks sound and look top class

thanks for the update... that is nice to know. I was always told it was a "hardware" issue

I have been rearching this and found some say it "fixed" with 2.3 others say it still not perfect but an improvement over the original firmware for sure, so i guess it depends who you ask. They are nice decks, i have tried them but that was before any updates so i can't really say myself. I personally would want perfect decks if i was spending that much $$$$. if your using them with TC and VDJ then your all set.
