I'm trying to get some video clips displayd in VDJ.
format is mpg.
But when Idrop them onto a deck, no clip is played....
I had it working in the past, but think it was with version before 4.0.

Any points to look at to troubleshoot?

All help is welcome. Thanks.

try disabling your hardware accel, but first make sure that the video window is enabled

sorry, played with those two settings already. no cure.

Screen resolution is at 1440 X 900 (widescreen). If that could cause any problem....
recall that in the past lowering the display resolution cured the problem. But now it doesn't help.

yep, the latest.
9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

format of the video is MPEG-1 Layer 2.
Gspot informs that codecs are installed correctly.

FOUND THE SOLUTION.....

a part of the hardware accel. was still enabled.
How I found out....
started the info dialog from the command prompt: Start->Run->dxdiag

in the tab display, it showed under Direct-X-functions that all acc. were enabled.
Just disabled them all, restarted VDJ, and clips are displayed now....

Thanks for all the help.

Thanks for the info.... Now I will try to find out how to get the VJ to work. Usually when you let a software search the web it does it for you...

I still could not get the video stuff to work. I could get the songs to come up on the screen and doing a ctrl??? i could temporarily get the visual to launch.....
Also Will you be supporting .swf or .fla (flash) file extensions soon>>>> I have some cool things I have made using flash and would like to incorporate it.

O- Thanks for accepting me into your gang....
