I finally downloaded the 4.1r2 trial version of VirtualDJ and I really liked it until I realized I was getting errors left and right when trying to load my music onto a deck. Anything with foreign characters (like ò, or japanese characters) do not load, and virtualdj says it's impossible to read the file. Also, get that error with my files that have the & symbol.

These files played fine in 3.4 version. Is Atomix folks aware of this issue and are they working on it? Are other people experiencing this?

thanks

I added a bunch of "&"'s to a file, and it loaded fine. Are you loading mp3's? Do they play in any other program?

I think I have a similar problem since VDJ crashes when I try and add my mp3 collection to the database, which worked fine under 3.4. I haven't really had a chance to dig in and figure out what's causing the crash, since it scans my music videos folders fine anyway and that's all I use it for. I'm assuming it's crashing because of a weird filename or something. Hopefully I'll have a chance to figure it out soon.
