There are illegal ways of getting music (including accapella and instrumental) but we do not advocate that type of music acquisition. TM Century produces Prime Cuts (www.tmcentury.com). If you subscribe to their monthly CD service, you have access to an online database of accapella and instrumental versions of songs.

He asked something very specific..., good question, i'd like to answer..
Well in theory you can...
Must be PERFECTLY in sync, the EXACT same levels, one inverted...
But that's in theory..., because the 2 versions are mastered the gain/compressing values will be never the same at ANY point, needs experiment and if you're lucky you can get some results.

I've also had very good luck creating acappellas using the original and the instrumental. It works very well with some songs and not so well with others. When it works, it works perfectly.
Any good audio editor will do, but I use audacity because it's free.

ditch acid its a program used by year 3 at my school to make audio emails lol
its not a dj program
