Sujet Virtual VJ Videos get frezze in lap tops

Hi. I download the demo virtual dj to buy it, but i have a problem my question is:
why when i playing a video in virtual vj the video get frezze for moments?
i had a sony vaio with 1gb ram 128 mb Nvidia video card 80 gb HD but somebody told me get a lap top witn more power in video card, so i did i buy it a DELL XPS M1210 Duo Core 2 Gb Ram 2.0 CPU speed 120 Gb HD "256 Mb Nvidia" Video card........But the problem STILL my Videos still getting frezzing.
sombody Knows why??

WHAT MODEL of Nvidia?
There are HUGE differences, and what video card you have at the laptop is ESSENTIAL.

Some Nvidia Go cards sucks.. And at the other end, there are a couple of Nvidia cards that rock
Generallt (from forum users) ATI seems to have work better. But the top range Nvidia cards for laptops are great too

The model i have is: NVIDIA GeForce GO 7400 Turbo cache with 256 Mb

Turbo Cache is nothing but a nice name for Shared Memory. Just like ATI "Hypermemory"

NVIDIA GeForce GO 7400 is not a good card. Sorry...

As said, it has shared memory, and does not work well for video mixing.

try changing video codec options for Windows media player codecs at VDJ setup.
if having trouble, ad me to your msn. my data ar at my blog djkike.
i make 7400 work after few months of stressing video sessions at the club

The cheapest card would be nVIDIA 7300Gt (Leadtek or MSI) and 7600Gs and GT follows.
