i got an HP pavillion DV1000 labtop. i want to asked if thats a good type of computer to use virtual DJ 4 on. The HP pavillion DV1000 consist of

intel(R) Pentium(R)M -is that good for vdj 4
processor 1.60GHz-is that good for vdj 4
1.60GHz, 512 MB of RAM-is that good for vdj 4

please let me know please as soon as possible.

i would want u to recommend me what to upgrade and what so on please because i got a big day to DJ and when i use virtual DJ for a long time or trying to use the fetures liek a real DJ or sometime when i am uploading a song it freezes the computer, so please give me the advice as soon as possible please

Depends on whether your going to use videos,Using videos is a tricky thing, but you must upgrade your ram with at least 1 Gig, check with HP and see what is the max ram you can use. Then thru hewlett packard you should update the bios for your computer to the most recent Bios Upgrade. Then install new ram( I have 2 gig in mine it made a big difference) they have it setup online and is easy to do.
Also I reccomend an external Hard drive. preferrable firewire interface... that way you run VDJ and load
your videos off the external harddrive.

I have really struggled with VDJ since version 3.0 and if your serious about djing then I would love to save you much pain. Good Luck
