I have a Hercules DJ Console that I purchased in 2003..
Will this console work properly with VDJ4.1 Or do I need to buy a updated one?
I hooked it up, updated the software from Hercules sight, installed VDJ's Mapper and it not running well.

either way it should work just fine with version 4 no upgrades needed

The controller I have was out before Hercules had a controller without a sound card..
Mine has a sound card. It doesn’t display any ware on the unit ‘MK1’ or ’MK2’ ..
The mapper is the latest. (djc)
The latest software from Hercules (2006_CMK2_1)

There are no markings on the unit that indicates MK1 or MK2
The logo at the top center of the controller only reads (Dj Concole)
I looked though the original install disc Found this.
Installation CD Version 1.0
What Mapper do I down load.. This thing is really unstable..

you have hercules dj console (mk1). It will not work with mk2 mapper. I think there is a mapper specifically for the mk1. Use djc mapper 4.0 by dj cel ( must be used with vdj 3.4 or 4.0).
