I am very new to this and I was wondering if I can setup a headphone on my laptop to do mixing. I have two sound cards on my laptop but cant get audio from my headphones.

2 sound cards builtin your laptop? What kind of laptop is it? Normally a laptop has 2 mini jack connector, where one is a headphone / line output and the other is a (mono) microphone input.
Please give us some more info what setup you have, what you have set up in the Sound card setup in the config menu and how you have wired your setup.

@A man and his music, you are right for the 3.4 version of the demo, but the demo for version 4.x is changed. The demo is now a full functional demo, with a time limitation of 20 days.
