i have the one that you put that connects to the sound card in the picture
but it doesnt split stereo.......it just makes one input into 2 outputs ......how would that work
does it have to be a stereo splitter????

and the headphones would be mono ......right????

Posté Thu 24 Nov 05 @ 4:15 pm
you need a stereo SPLITTER, that splits the right and left signal... not a duplicator of the output.

And yes, this solution makes both master out, and headphone, mono.....

You can always get an external usb 5.1 soundcard cheep, and have stereo out for both master and headphone :)

so i wouldnt have to get a mixer or a soundcard ..........just use the hercules MK2 as a soundcard and mixer ,...............nice

yes...

But, its a MIDI controller that works like a mixer... in "software mode".
It controls the VDJ software, the same way a keyboard and mouse would.

Getting an external mixer with hardware EQ's and real knobs/sliders, would of course be better quality.

But the Hercules MK2 is a good start, and good for practice... .and u can always expand to real turntable and real mixer later, and connect that to the console.

It is a great soundcard

dj in norway i've been thinking and i wanted to get a turntable i'm its better and cheaper to get a maya44 a mixer and a turntable than a hercules MK2 and truntable.........
a hercules is $250 and a maya44 and mixer just go to $200 if i get a 100 dollar mixer.......
and its better quality so i guess i'll get that

@tatto : Comprar la programma :)

@heman : Maya (or other asio dual soundcard) + real mixer is better than hercules :)
If you can get that for a lower price than Hercules, go for that .... :)
