I realize this topic has been beat up several times here but what I thought would be an improvement with the TCV issues with Version 4.2 has not proveen effective, or maybe my settings are off, but

I use the MK2 for my soundcard.......will the U46DJ make an improvement when it comes to scratching, there seems to be a "lag" issue and I think it might be the MK2 latency problem with this soundcard.

can anyone offer assistance with this?

check my blog to see how to drop the mk2 latency to the 2ms

which kicks the u46s arse

i dont thing tou need assio4all drivers for mk2.
thats why you have that error message.
use hercules drivers from your product cdrom or download drivers from hercules site maybe newer the ones you have.

this is a hack , the asio for all drivers run at a massively lower latency

you need to choose on sound options

inputs : dual timecode

outputs : what ever you use ie external mixer

soundcard : asio

driver : asio for all , press properties and now on this screen enable the mk2 and dissable your internal card

press ok ,

now go to proformances and choose 2ms , on latency and press ok

now go to the sound config again and press timecode config , then press autoconfigure

this will fix it for you

check my blog again for pictures of each step if you get stuck :)
