Is it just me that finds the whole performance settings tab in VDJ too confusing?
Seems that a lot of problems come from having the performance tab set to high of quality
or autolatency checked/unchecked
or overclock
or safe mode.
The manual does not do a very good job of explaining the settings for these controls.
SURVEY TIME
Q; What would you as a user rather have
A. Better explainations in the service manual for tweaking VDJ
B. Removing these settings from our control and replacing them with a gerneric Middle-Of-The-Road group of settings
Me personally I would rather have detailed explanations so that I can figure out how to set the program up. The Manual gives good explainations on how to use the Program, But sort of glosses over (opion only) the set up so that a lot of re-ocurring problems that we see on the forums can be headed off at the pass so to speak

These options allow every one to have it running on their machine to its best ability

If your having issues, like preformance, video or sound then you'll have to try different combinations of settings till one gives you results..
There are some explanations on preformance settings in the VDJ manual from page 38, get acquainted with each setting type by reading this topic fully, then you will have a better handle on what and which one to tweak..
There is also a "Big Factor" in all of this, and that is your computer system that also may need to be tweaked for performance and that is usually the origin of a large part of the issues..
