you can use the box as a soundcard yes ,
 
so will i be able to cue up songs
 
when it comes to editing bpm what is the 1/4 buttons for?

ok, how exactly do you set it up? would i need serato vinyl and software or just virtual dj software with serato vinyl?..? thanks.
 
for the best results use the virtual dj vinyl.
