Can someone help me out?
Can you explain to me what is happening when i select the beatgrid effect?
When a bar on the visualisation is selected/deselected what does that mean?
Why are there four rows and four columns?
etc
sorry if i am being stupid but i a beginner
thanks in advance!

it makes beats
the rows and colluns are for choosing the pattern of the beats
it works similar to a drum machine. it follows the grids pattern
when you start the plugin you get one 4 beat loop.
unless you choose one of the repeat options on the right for a longer loop.

Hi,
It's difficult to explain really, but it basically re-arranges the rhythm of the song. If you highlight all the top row of squares you will get the first beat after you activate the effect played 16 times very fast.
If you selected all of the squares in the second row, you'd get the second beat after you activate the effect repeated 16 times very fast.
Neither of these will sound very interesting I would guess, so just make a random pattern (it will only let you highlight one square in each colum) and see what it sounds like.
You can easily save a pattern that you like using the red buttons down the right hand side of the screen.
Good luck!

Beatgrid can be fun. Though using it too often dose become a bit boring.
