Been reading about the Numark Total Control and it seems like it would be a great alternative to the Hercules DJC MK2. Only thing its missing is the soundcard. Would the best replacement for the MK2 be to purchase a Total Control along with the Numark DJ i/o? I know the Total Control isn't out yet and the DJ i/o seems to be out of stock everywhere. Any thoughts?

omg! at first i was also looking at the mk2 then all of a sudden the total control comes in fornt of me. i was in love with the total control for the last two weeks and i didn't realize you needed the i/o. i thought it was like the mk2 where it already has a sound card. this is sort of a turn off because then it would cost around $350 in total. not to mention, i'm planning on buying the $700 iCDX. *sigh* good luck and tell me if you get any details on finding the i/o.

oh i've been searching around the net and found out that the Numark i/o don't come out until the 17th of May. this is the same release date as the total control. i hope this helped you.

I think what happened is that the DJ i/o came out and it was in such high demand that their supply ran out. The May release date is probably when they will have enough made to rerelease it along with the Total Control. Still, from the looks of it the Total Control looks like a much better controller and its made by Numark.
