Anyone in the NYC tri-state area using VDJ that is willing to network/demo the software for me ?

I am currently running another software that does NOT do video, i am already set up with a projector, screen and 2 plasmas that i use for slide shows and still shots but i feel that i could be doing so much more with it. All i want is to possibly see the software in action as well as hear from other experienced DJ's on the pro's and cons of VDJ.
Any help would be appreciated.

You can search the forum, there is a lot of NYC VDJ users here and topics about them. Dj Cyder is near you, I think.
 
If you don't mind taking a drive up 95 to South Norwalk, CT. on a Thursday night;
You can come see me do a VDJ show at my club.
It's called the Black Bear, we have around 30 plasma screens & 3, 9X9 projector screens.

 
Where in NY? I am in NJ, just across the Goethals bridge.

I'm in " DA Bronx " so the nearest to me would probably be the black bear. What times do Thursdays jump off and what type of crowd are you playing for ?
 
hi i'm also in the bronx useing VDJ the first week it came out ten mints from the GWB
 
The Club is a BIG mix, we play everything.
Mostly Hip Hop but we do a set or 2 of House\Club.
We do some Glam rock, some Spanish, some 80s (mostly early in the night),
And then we throw in some Cheese like "Buttercup", "Grease", "Shout" ect....

The club is best at around 11:30 - 12:40 (when we close),
But there is allmost 100 - 200 people in the club when I get there at 9:00.

I am also using the BDC2000 controler & a pair of DVJ X1 DVD players.
 
I actually saw the DVJ's on the myspace page. I'll see when i can get out there in the neae future .
The only setback on my behalf is that i work the next morning, but i'll probably wind up taking the day off.
I'll let you know when i head over.
 
Phil it, where in the bronx are you ? Are you playing videos in the area ?

I do mostly mobile work but once in a while i do a guest spot at local clubs. The club i do the most is jet set cafe in the bronx. VDJ would be used mostly on the mobile scene.

Frank Smooth in the House by way of Manhattan. I'm using VDJ to spin videos, Karaoke,Mp3's, if anyone would like to see a demo you can see me at Harlem Lanes Bowling Alley on 125th and Adam Clayton Powell on Monday's and at 10 Reade Street in Lower Manhattan on Thursday and Friday night.

My club is Cheeques in Linden, NJ. It's a Gentlemen's club. My main thing is mobile. I do other clubs occasionally, but only if they beg me. I don like to play one type of music, all night.
