Sujet: Screen Blackout

I been using the trial version of this very nice software but the screen just suddenly turned black after minutes of playing. It happen when I use the 1024x768 normal resolution of the skin included with the trial, but when i stretched it (e.g my normal screen which is 1280x800) the problem is gone.

I'm afraid it will happen again when I buy the home or pro versions.
Experts advise is needed.

Did the screen come back or did you have to restart?

What OS are you using?

Do you have other programs running in the background?
 
I had this happen recently on my laptop using just my mk2. Don't know of the sollution or cause, I had to restart it. Might be IRQ related thoughy, not really sure;^]
 
I'm using XP pro. I had to restart or command it to standby then back again. I don't have any program running on the background. All my security programs are off and so with the screen saver and power saver. It's really annoying!!!I don't know if it will happen when I buy the registered one!!!

But why is it when I stretched the skin the problem is gone????
Please I need guidance to sort this things out before buying anything that will not function as desired.
 
I suggest you to try some other video driver (even the older one), because Power management depends on it. Also, enter your Bios and disable all power save options (if there's any on).
Tell us, when it went black, does the music still plays? If not, Power managment is your problem. Update your bios with the new one.

When it went black the music continuously playing and in fact I can still manage to mix to the next song by just using the keys without the monitor!!!

I'm waiting for my Alienware lappy to be delivered which is really intended only VDJ and I hope this will not be the case, coz it's also a wide screen. I have the full registered version of your competitor (native) but found no problem with it.

Any other advise???PLEASE!!!
 
Hm, you can do a clean install of the OS and then try, and try with different versions of video driver because I think that Video driver is your problem.
