Is there a way to get the actual length of a playlist or at least the number of songs in the playlist ?

try to open your playlist with windows media player, it will tell you the total time
and to count the number of songs you can open it with Zoomplayer
maybe there are different ways, but this works for me

But I was looking for a feature of VDJ that I didn't discover so far. As it looks like, there is no such feature within VDJ.

Correct, there is no such feature in VirtualDJ.

The total length of playlist feature has been requested quite a few times. A number of dj programs include them. It's already been asked for in the vdj new features forum. Here is the link:
