So I See There Was A Little Colabo. Too bad PCDJ Did Not Include Some Of The Features VirtualDJ Has, Now That They Have Released A Product I Can Decide On Which To Buy!

Go for the one you feel suit you most.
While there are lots of similarities, there is also differences.
PCDJ VJ is its own app, standing on its own feet.

yep, it doesn't have as much on it as vdj.
it is automix software.
i said on their forum that its automix very simular to vdj. does it have something vdj doesn't!
they booted me off for sayin that.

Its not an automix software, its very much as VDJ.
In fact is built around VDJ technology, and is a result of PCDJ and VDJ collaborations.
It got its own specially designed skin, only for PCDJ.
And its a more stream-lined dedicated video mix version , so some might prefer that ;)

Does it have anything VDJ doesn't?
Is there a list of feature differences?
Is is just a different skin?
The prices are pretty much the same...

while it doesnt have anything that VDJ doesnt have, its a more to-the-task version, specially designed for and optimized for VJ's doing video mixing, and by that something that a VJ might prefer.

you say optimized for video. does that mean it is better at doing video than vdj?

short answer.....money
I bet Atomix gets paid every time a piece of that software sells.

Straight from PCDJ and I think it explains why better than saying 'money'...

We took at a look at who was leading in video out there right now, and kept coming back to VDJ. We feel this is an excellent solution for our users, and we can offer them direct phone support for it here in the states. We are excited about this partnership, and look forward to what's to come.

What does this have to do with the top discussed? If you want that question or concern answered, please post on the tech forum.

Well both are joining one another, so not sure who couldn't beat who really.

My guess is PCDJ couldn't beat VDJ...pcdj has been promising PCDJ Vj by "next month" for over 2 years now, they had 2 years plus the year they told us it was being developed (Maybe Longer and in the end they just scrapped their product development and bought VDJ. I downloaded the demo and while the skin is nice it is still missing a few things for video jocks (as is VDJ such as a selectable crossfade time on the video fader) no playlist.

Hey we're in a pretty good place here guys, our software is from the main developers, meaning we get it first!
