Sujet: Music starting to sound strange out of my hercules.

I've had my hercules mk2 now for for about 4 months and had no problems with it, but over the last week it's developed a slight problem. Every now and then the music especially vocals are starting to sound abit, How can I put it, synthesized, like Cher's song Believe, but not as bad.

Has anybady had this problem, or can anybody help ?

I was thinking whether to uninstall the Console and drivers and reinstall, to see if that help.

I've heard a similar sound, when higher freq sounds like cymbal crashes get really distorted , and found it to be my decks tone arm is out of balance and skating too lightly.

But I guess you're playing digital music not vinyl, so I'm probably not much of a help!
 

Right,

Uninstalled the console and drivers from my laptop and then re-installed them both.

Been Mixing now for about a 1 1/2 hour's and everything seems to be fine. Been playing alot of vocal tracks and they seem spot on. Got a friends birthday party to do on Friday night and my bar gig on Saturday, so hopefully it should be ok.

Will post again if not, for more ideas.
