I'm getting the following message when I install VDJ

"COULD NOT INITIALIZE INSTALLATION. FILE SIZE EXPECTED = 38088054, SIZE RETURNED = 38088290. THE PARAMETER IS INCORRECT",

Any ideas????

Clear your Internet browser's cache and try downloading the file again. Sometimes when I download a file from the Internet and try to run it, I get a similar error.

Internet Explorer 7 saves the same file if one does not empty the "Temporary Internet Files" first.
  1. Go to "Tools">"Internet Options">"Delete...".
  2. Make sure to click on the "Delete files..." button under "Temporary Internet Files".
In Firefox:
  1. Go to "Tools">"Clear Private Data...".
  2. Make sure the "Cache" is enabled.
  3. Click on "Clear Private Data Now".
 
i have just purchased Virtual Vinyl 5.0 and I am getting the following message.

An I/o error occurred while installing a file. This is normally caused by bad installation media or a corrup installation file.

I have tried this on two separate laptops. 1. is win xp pro and the other one is Vista ultimate...same error on both

Help please
 
 
Is Virrtual Dj 5 more stable on Vista or XP?
 
its stable on both but vista has a vastly improved video and sound api


which means video and audio works better :)

 
Virtual Vinyl 5 n Virtual Dj 5 is the same n is stable:)
