Sujet: Numark usb mixer and two icdx on a mac

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Is it better to use a numark usb mixer with two icdx on a mac than to used a mk2 with two icdx on mac or any other suggestion that i can use because the mac with the mk2 and the 2 icdx doesnt work like how it work on the pc and i want to use a mac as it is more stable with music give a suggestion i need asap. thanks in advanced

what do you wish to achive

play cds through vdj or utilise the midi control?

well as you already have the mk2

i would use this for headphone monitoring and main output and crossfading

then use the icdx as jog/stratch controlers

 
i have a dxm06 from numark and two icdx an mk2 pc version which work great on a pc an allow other user to used cd when they want but when using the mac with same setup as the pc im not getting the same thing thats y i ask if the the usb mixer from numark will be my solution to both system
 
for mk2 + icx

choose on sound

inputs : none
outputs : headphones
card: 4.1

Driver : mk2

channels 1/2 main 3/4 headphones

And enable Mk2 and Icx in mid

Options > remotes
 
will this setting all me to switch to cd when using the icdx
 
currently in 4.3 mac

it isnt possible , but in v5 comming soon bypass mode mixing real CD , with virtual dj

will be included ,
 
ok thanks skyfxl then i will have to use my pc for the rest of the time until v5 comes for the mac
