IDEA: what about adding numbers to the top wave form of vdj. I mean very tiny numbers in the wave form above dots so that when DJ is scratching with xP10, and the wave forms all look the same, it would give you a rough idea where you are?

could be cool...
but, usually dj's look at the vinyl or the disk to see where they are at, in a scratch. You can to this in many skins, so that you can easily have your scratch at a place you want.
Most dj's use for example the light at the turntable to "mark" where they are, and drag back to the light etc

If you want to count the beats, this is pretty simple: the bigger square under the waveform represents beat #1, and then there are 3 smaller squares...

Yup and if you clik on cbg4 you can change the bigger squares place.
