yealp you re in luck i have such a set up and i just love it

do not use a usb hub niether one likes it so use a port for each on a lappie i know that can be challenging with external hds and all

the only faults with the mixer is the mic on the left plugs into the top and theres no talkover switch

for the dmc2 it totally with ever penny and with jpboggis mapper makes it ten times what it cames as mapper can be found here
http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/view.html?type=tool

what ever port u plug the the dmc2 or the mixer in to u must use the same port for each ever time or it get funnky with the channel settings and all that, so mark the usb cables so u know what port they go into same with the dmc

plug in the mixer and the usb will see and load the "(drivers)" for that channel/cable to that port

i do have xp so it may be differant with vista i dont know

on xp go to control panel and audio devices and audio properties and select one of the two usbcodec and turn up the volume as they may be turned only to half and do the same with the other

thats all the tips and tricks i have for the moment and i cant stress enough mark the cables and put them in same spot every time

I have the same setup and the sound is so crisp it puts my old system to shame. I have noted that one of the guys said the cm200 wasn't happy being plugged unto a USB hub i disagree as my powered hub works fine.

well if yours likes the hub all the better for ya, but alls i know is mine didnt but that may be that im running a p4 and only a gig or ram but who knows glad the hear its working for ya

Does the crossagfader of the mixer move the crossfader in the software?

No it does not.
You need a midi mixer to do that.
