When I first went digital back in 2001 my system was good but heavey, however I thought two years from now something better will arrive.
A mixer midi controller & sound card all in one - rackmount the works! a real industry standard something that people could have for ten years and would enjoy something that would go down in history like the 1210 has.
Here we are years n years later and the only thing i can see is the over priced Xzone 3D with the mic input on the front, great for those that want the input on the back so that they can run rackmount radio mic's into it. I notice it has no skins for VDJ or PCDJ only A Live and Traktor.
The Denon controller having the phonos on the side and been AC powered and not IEC is badly thought out also, if it had an IEC connector on the back it could be run into a power distributor at least.
Dose anyone know if any of the manufactures are making anything at the moment that will excite?? something that will kick ass!!!!!!!

the only thing that i can think of coming soon - is the pioneer cdj-400 - but still a bulky heavy case to lug around everywhere.

Hi Charlie
The Numark CM200 USB has the inputs on the back which i found usful for radio mics, i found it to be crisp and clear on the sound although it don't have a few designs which i would liked added.
