I can not figure out how to get videos to play through VDJ v5. How do you output it to a monitor or a projector full screen?--gRock

hi mate
will try to guide you through, if i get it wrong hopefully theres's an angel looking over my shoulder,
1 make sure you have connections made to to your screens before booting up your pc/lappy
2 after booting up make sure your pc/lappy is set for dual view
3 start vdj and then go into config and select video, when window opens tick activate, tv output drop down window, choose your graphics card if not already selected and then tick hardware acceleration, nearer the bottom chose sonique for your visuals while in audio only...
if you have not already got soniques go to video pluggin section and download and install any problems just give another shout out on this post one of the guys or myself will be floating about... hope this helps

sounds like your TV Output option is set to Window instead of your graphics card.

D-twizzle is right on the money. You need to go to your display properties and enable dual output. Make sure you have your montiors plugged into the right port. (this does make a difference on many video cards). Launch Virtual dj, enable video, and in the drop down choose your graphics card. Make sure you check the window.
Hope this helps. also make sure if your hooking up to a projector that it can handle the resolution that your gonna send to it.
