Sujet: a few quick ones

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

hi just noticed a few things and had a few questions:

i have experimented with the loop seetings and have noticed that it is never as good as using the cdj 1000's when you want to loop infinitely...for example.. if you want to create a drum role with the cdj all you need to do is slowly move the platter backwards and you get a perfect continuous loop... vdj seems to have problems after 1/8 loop...

kinda like what laidback luke is doing in the begining of this video (except he is using the mixer to add the filter affect, but this is what i want to do without the cd tables)

next... dont know if you guys care but i noticed a spelling/grammer error in the keyboard shortcut explanation area...when you go to the keyboard shortcuts area and check the loop title in the left box the in the 'loop out' subheading the last sentence should read "or exit the loop IF there is one'

finally... how would i know which 'generation' vinyl i have? dont remember when i bought them but they are quite heavier then the first set i bought and they actually arrived flat in the new box design. also, they have the minute markers built into them like serato... is that 2nd 3rd or 4th gen?

VERY VERY IMPORTANT

please do something about the ability of the vinyl to keep its pitch past the first three min of the vinyl...longer house tracks jump from 130 to 131.5 bmp when mixing...this is totally unacceptable since you do hear the 'bad mix'... this makes the dj look bad especially if its in front of a judgmental audience (ie- an industry night at a club)... for now, to remedy this, i use the clone deck option to jump to the begining of my other vinyl when the track is almost done while continuing to play the track seemlessly...but this is VERY VERY annoying...please fix this problem or let me know if it can be fixed with new vinyls

if this hasnt been addressed yet please address this before any 'cool colour changes'... although that would be nice, i think we would all agree that functionality is much more important for now.

thanks alot and sorry for the hap hazard post that seems all over the place :)
